Talk
“Life changes, and sometimes we grow into a version of ourselves that no longer fits the life we created. I do not see these moments as failures, but as invitations to pause and ask, “What’s next for me?” I’m not here to provide the answers to this question or “fix.” I believe you already carry much of what you need.
My approach is integrative and relational, because I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. I draw from relational, humanistic, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based perspectives to understand each person as a whole—their experiences, relationships, emotions, beliefs, and patterns, as well as the ways their past may continue to influence their present. I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, humor and a little Southern charm into the room. In our work I draw on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness and IFS-informed interventions, along with creative arts to express what can be hard to put into words.”

My Passion
I am passionate about helping women feel more confident in who they are and in the choices they make. I especially enjoy working with women navigating anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, people-pleasing, relationship challenges, boundaries or simply feeling stuck. Often, underneath those struggles is a woman who has spent a lot of time being what everyone else needs her to be.
I believe our past experiences become part of our story, but they don’t have to determine the rest of it. Above all, people want to feel seen, heard, understood and hopeful—and sometimes being truly heard is where change begins.
THE EXPERIENCE
You don’t need to have it all figured out before you come. When clients first come in, they are often asking some version of the same questions: What do I really want? Whose voice am I listening to? Who do I want to be in this next season of my life? Many feel overwhelmed, are questioning a relationship or a decision, or have spent so long taking care of everyone else that they’ve lost touch with what they need.
In our work together, clients describe feeling at ease. There is room for laughter alongside the serious conversations and compassion alongside practical guidance. Together, we slow things down, make sense of the patterns that keep them stuck, and reconnect with what matters most. Over time, clients learn to bring that same ease, honesty and self-compassion into their lives outside of therapy.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT helps us understand the powerful connection between our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I use CBT to help clients notice patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, self-doubt, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck. Together, we can gently challenge thoughts that may no longer serve you, develop more helpful perspectives, and practice new ways of responding.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
ACT is especially helpful when we find ourselves spending so much energy trying to control, avoid, or get rid of difficult thoughts and emotions. Rather than waiting until life feels easier, ACT helps us learn to make room for what we are experiencing while becoming clearer about what truly matters to us. I use ACT to help clients reconnect with their values and take meaningful steps toward the life and relationships they want, even when uncertainty or discomfort is part of the journey.
Mindfulness & IFS-Informed Work
Mindfulness invites us to slow down and become more aware of what is happening within us—with curiosity rather than judgment. I will sometimes draw from IFS-informed concepts to help clients understand the different “parts” of themselves that may show up in times of stress, fear, self-doubt, or conflict. Rather than judging or trying to get rid of these parts, we can become curious about what they are trying to protect and develop a more compassionate relationship with ourselves. These approaches can create greater self-awareness, emotional flexibility, and self-compassion.
Explore Connection
While self-healing can be an integral part of ones personal growth journey, too often people believe they should be able to do it all alone. We are NOT meant to live, grow or heal in isolation. We are social creatures who thrive in connection and community.
